WP Performance’s general policy is to act as a neutral provider of access to the global Internet. WP Performance reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer’s access to any or all services when it determines that the account has been used inappropriately.
Violations of WP Performance’s Acceptable Use Policy Include:
Illegal Use
WP Performance’s services may not be used for illegal purposes or in support of illegal activities. We reserve the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or injured third parties in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrongdoing.
Threats
Transmitting any material that threatens or encourages bodily harm or property destruction via WP Performance services is strictly prohibited.
Harassment
Use of WP Performance services to harass others by email, uploading, or posting is not allowed.
Forgery or Impersonation
Modifying network header information to deceive or impersonate is prohibited, including use of forged headers or identities.
Fraudulent Activity
Using our services for fraudulent offers or financial scams such as pyramid schemes or chain letters is a violation.
Unsolicited Email / SPAM
Sending unsolicited commercial or bulk email is not allowed. Accounts engaged in this will be terminated immediately.
Important Notice
Hosting or supporting spam-related content or services will result in immediate server removal from our network. Reconnection will only occur upon complete removal of all offending material and granting us access for verification. Repeat offenses result in permanent termination.
Email/News Bombing
Intentionally impeding another’s email or news access is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.
Email/Message Forging
Forging headers of electronic transmissions through WP Performance services is a violation.
Usenet SPAM
WP Performance enforces a zero-tolerance policy for improper use of newsgroups or mailing lists for commercial posting.
Unauthorized Access
Attempting to access, probe, or bypass security of systems or accounts (including WP Performance’s or others) is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate termination.
Copyright or Trademark Infringement
Transmitting any material that infringes on copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret rights is not permitted.
Collection of Personal Data
Collecting personal information about others without their knowledge or consent is a violation.
Network Disruption
Any activity that affects the performance of WP Performance services or the broader Internet (e.g., DoS attacks) is prohibited. Subscribers are responsible for securing their own network and ensuring their systems are not misused by others.
Fraud
Knowingly making misleading or false statements, with the intent to deceive, is prohibited.
Copyrights and Intellectual Property
Infringement or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted, trademarked, or proprietary material is not tolerated.
Virus Distribution
Deliberately distributing malware or viruses that disrupt or damage systems is prohibited.
Inappropriate Software Use
Use of pinging or any software that artificially prolongs a connection to WP Performance services may lead to suspension.
Third-Party Accountability
Account holders are responsible for actions taken by third parties using their access. This includes any violations of the AUP.
Additional Prohibited Uses
- Reseller accounts may not offer free domain hosting services.
- No torrent tracker activity, regardless of content legality.
- No proxy scripts of any kind (e.g., PHPProxy, CGIProxy, or others).
